Christmas Dramatag: Make A Wish (or five)

Il post di oggi è un Dramatag un po’ insolito.

Quelli vecchi ormai li conoscete tutti, ve li linko qui.
Oggi abbiamo una versione natalizia, qualcosa di un po’ diverso.
Io non sono la persona adatta a creare guide natalizie o wishlist per la stessa occasione.
Sono il tipo di persona che si dispera fino all’ultimo per i regali, figuriamoci se posso dare consigli a qualcuno.
Per le wishlist invece è più forte di me, ho milioni di cose inutili che desidero ma quando devo mettere per iscritto cosa voglio magicamente il mio cervello si svuota.
Il post di oggi racchiude cinque prodotti non solo di makeup -ve l’ho detto che era insolito- che possiedo e che mi piacciono parecchio e che di conseguenza penso potrebbero essere spunti per dei regali.
Ecco, in realtà sto scrivendo questo post solo perché spero che tante di voi lo rifacciano in modo da copiare le vostre idee per dei regali altrui.
Nulla vi nega di mettere solo cinque prodotti di makeup o beauty in generale, ovviamente!

First Impressions: Nabla Cosmetics’s Genesis Collection

Nabla Cosmetics mi piace.
Mi piace per le immagini meravigliose che sceglie per rappresentare le sue collezioni, per il packaging minimale ma non noioso dei prodotti, per la gentilezza di chi si occupa del brand sotto ogni punto di vista.
Non mi piacciono tutti i prodotti che ho provato ma sicuramente mi piacciono i loro ombretti.
Tranne Lazy Days, con Lazy Days ho una storia tormentata.

Please know that I did buy a couple of these things in 2013 BUT I started to really love them this year so yes, I’m not even cheating.

Here we are, talking about creamshadows yet again, one of my favorite topics as you know.
Today we’ll talk about Alloy by Laura Mercier, part of Metallic Creme Eye Color.
I bought it more than a year ago in my already mentioned experience at the corner in Rinascente which I told you all about here.
Yes, a year, I’m a slow slow person.
 
Eccoci ancora a parlare di ombretti in crema, come sapete già uno dei miei argomenti preferiti.
Oggi parliamo di Alloy di Laura Mercier, uno dei Metallic Creme Eye Color.
L’ho acquistato più di un anno fa dopo l’iper citata esperienza al corner in Rinascente di cui vi ho parlato qui.
Sì, un anno, sono di una lentezza imbarazzante.

What’s in my Housemate Makeup Bag?

Today’s post is the first one of a new series of posts that I’ve been thinking about for a long time.
You all know what I like and what I don’t makeup wise and all my thoughts on beauty, right?
To ample the range of subjects we talk about I decided to let you take a peek in the makeup bags’s of the women -and some men- in my life.
Today we’ll talk about the cosmetic habits of R., a friend that became a sister for me and that’s the best housemate ever.
Oggi inizio una nuova serie di post, una serie che mi gira per la testa da tantissimo tempo.
Ormai sapete bene cosa uso, cosa mi piace, i miei gusti, vero?
Per dare un po’ di varietà e non annoiarvi a morte ho pensato di farvi fare un giro nelle makeup bag delle donne della mia vita e anche di qualche uomo.
Oggi parliamo delle abitudini cosmetiche di R., un’amica che è diventata una sorella acquisita e la miglior coinquilina di sempre.

Review: The Balm Instain Blush in Pinstripe

The Balm is relatively a new brand on the italian market.
I have to admit that after an initial enthusiasm when I really wanted to try every single product this is now a brand that really doesn’t make my heart sing.
I still really like the Mary Lou Manizer highlighter, I think it’s one of the best one I’ve ever tried.
Today we’ll talk about one of the other brand’s product that I really love, one of the blush out of the Instain range, the shade Pinstripe.
 
Vi ricordate quando è arrivata The Balm in Italia? Non è passato poi così tanto tempo, vero?
Devo ammettere che dopo un iniziale entusiasmo in cui volevo provare tantissime cose ora è un brand che non attira più di tanto la mia attenzione.
Continua a piacermi tantissimo l’illuminante Mary Lou Manizer, penso sia uno dei più belli che io abbia mai avuto l’occasione di provare.
Oggi però vi parlo di un altro elemento del brand che mi piace da impazzire, uno dei blush della linea Instain, in particolare il colore Pinstripe.

Dramatag: My Top 5 MAC Eyeshadows

After a long time we have another Dramatag!
Today’s theme is MAC eyehsadows.
I know it’s a pretty specific theme but this category of products is often neglected, I often see posts about the brand lipsticks but not so often about the eyeshadows.
So here we are, I’d like to share with you my faves.

Dopo tanto, troppo tempo arriva un altro Dramatag!
Oggi il tema per i quali voglio farvi vedere cinque prodotti è piuttosto specifico, parliamo infatti di ombretti MAC.
Mi rendo conto che potrebbe essere un po’ limitante come argomento ma vedo che questi vengono spesso trascurati rispetto ad altri prodotti del marchio -qualcuno ha detto rossetti? qualcuno ha detto rossetti in edizione limitata?- e vorrei condividere con voi gli ombretti che amo di più.

Empties – 12 –

It hasn’t been long since my last empties post, I know that.
But in the past few months I’ve been trying harder than ever to finish stuff up.
Besides that I’m also trying to toss makeup that’s way past its PAO, following Dani’s precious advices.
This last task is way more difficult for me, I hate throwing stuff away.
Non è passato molto tempo dall’ultimo post sui prodotti finiti, lo so.
Però nei mesi passati mi sono sforzata di consumare sempre più prodotti che giacevano tra bagno e cassettiera da anni, senza un senso.
Oltre allo smaltimento vero e proprio sto anche cercando di gettare il makeup che oggettivamente è ormai inutilizzabile, seguendo i preziosissimi consigli di Dani di Shopping&Reviews.
Quest’ultima operazione per me è un po’ più difficile perché non trovo sempre semplicissimo buttare via gli oggetti, ci stiamo lavorando.
