October Favorites!

Heeey there beautiful people!
It feels like I haven’t blogged in ages, doesn’t it?
I still have issues with my home wifi but, fingers crossed, everything should be working properly starting tomorrow.
I’m still super active on Instagram so you know where to find me.
Anyway, I still did my makeup this month and I have quite a few new products I want to talk with you about.

Mi sembra di non bloggare da anni, giuro.
Ho ancora problemi con il wifi a casa ma se tutto va bene, incrociate le dita per me, da domani dovrebbe funzionare tutto.
Sono comunque sempre attiva su Instagram e Facebook, se avete bisogno di qualsiasi cosa sono lì.
In ogni caso in questo mese mi sono truccata come sempre e ho qualche prodotto nuovo di cui vorrei parlarvi.

Here we are, this month’s favorites!
In the next days my posts will follow a random planning, I don’t have wifi at my new place yet and I need to organise myself.
I still need to find the best location to take pictures, we’ll make it soon, I swear.

June Favorites!

June is finally over.
This month has been a nightmare.
I really hope July’ll be better, I have so many amazing things to look forward to, let’s cross our fingers.
Did I tell you that I’m finally getting a tattoo? I’m super excited about it and a little nervous too, I may faint even before I actually get it.
But let’s talk about pretty shiny things. In this awful month’s favorites there’re quite a few new products that I really like, let’s talk about it straight away.
Finalmente giugno è finito.
È stato un mese da incubo, davvero.
Spero davvero che luglio sia migliore, ho un sacco di cose bellissime che mi aspettano e che attendo con ansia, incrociamo tutti insieme le dita!
Vi ho detto che finalmente faccio il mio primo tatuaggio? Sono super esaltata e anche un po’ nervosa, mi aspetto di svenire ancora prima di cominciare.
Ma parliamo di cose belle. Nei prodotti preferiti di questo mese infame ci sono diversi nuovi prodotti interessanti, iniziamo subito a parlarne.

Review: Nars Blush in Taj Mahal

Today’s post is about a blush that’s a little outside the usual color schemes.
It’s not a coral, nor a peach or a red.
Yet it’s one of the most beautiful blush I own and definitely among the ones I prefer to use.
We’re talking about Nars’s Taj Mahal.
 
Oggi parliamo di un blush diverso dai soliti.
Non è un corallo, non è pesca, non è rosso.
Eppure è uno dei blush più belli che ho e uno di quelli che uso più volentieri.
Stiamo parlano di Taj Mahal di Nars.

May Favorites!

May is over, can you believe it? I surely can’t.
Going on holiday at the end of april, before my exams session, kind of messed up my mind.
It definitely did some damage to the makeup side of my life!
Mainly because I’m still quite tanned and no foundation I own really works at the moment. I did want to get a new one but I didn’t, don’t I deserve at least an hug for resisting temptations? 
As far as my actual life goes I’ve spent most of the month stuck in the library studying so I didn’t have a lot of needs.
For my nights out -those few when I’ve forced my self to get out and see people- I’ve come up with an easy and quick combo that looks pretty good.
È finito anche maggio, ma ci crediamo? Io proprio no!
Andare in vacanza a fine aprile, prima della sessione di esami, mi ha sballato un po’, anche per quanto riguarda il lato makeup della mia vita.
Principalmente perché mi sono abbronzata tanto e nessun fondotinta mi va bene -e ho resistito alla tentazione di comprarne un altro, mi merito almeno un abbraccio?-.
Per quanto riguardo la mia vita a maggio ho passato la maggior parte delle mie giornate in biblioteca a studiare quindi diciamo che non ho avevo grandissime esigenze.
Per le serate -perché sì, a volte mi sono trascinata fuori- ho trovato una combinazione di qualche prodotto che mi sta bene e mi porta via poco tempo e vai così.

Travel Makeup Bag: Cabo Verde Edition pt. II

While you’re reading this I’m finally on the plane, flying to Cape Verde.
In this post I’ll show what I’m bringing with me.
After I’ve finished packing I went back to this summer’s post.
I realised I brought way more stuff this year, mainly blushes and lip products.
Well, my friend R. doesn’t bring any makeup and counts on my stuff so I couldn’t disappoint her, right?!
All this stuff’ll get some use only at night, I never put on any makeup when I’m at the beach.
Mentre voi leggete questo post io sono finalmente sull’aereo, in volo verso Capo Verde.
Qui parliamo un po’ dei prodotti che mi sto portando in vacanza.
Dopo aver fatto il beauty e le foto sono andata a vedere cosa mi sono portata quest’estate.
Mi sono resa conto di aver portato più cose di quest’estate, principalmente blush e prodotti labbra.
In parte mi giustifico dicendo che insomma, la mia amica R. non si porta trucchi e quindi condividiamo i miei. E poi non so, mi piacciono i trucchi e mi piace portarmeli in giro anche se probabilmente tanti non li userò.
Premessa, io al mare non mi trucco mai, tutto ciò verrà usato massimo quando esco la sera.

Review: Nars Brow Perfector in Suriname

Eyebrows, eyebrows, eyebrows.
As you know they’re a really important aspect of my look, I’m always looking for ways to improve them.
They’ve always had quite a different shape among them -I know they have to be sisters and not twins but sometimes they look like they don’t even have the same parents- and because of some stupid over plucking they’re a little sparse in some points.
With the latest trends -did I hear you say Cara Delevingne?- we’re all tempted to throw our tweezers out of the window and that’s it.
But, if you care the listen to the words of an unexperienced beauty addict- please don’t over draw them if you’re not really good at it.
This doesn’t mean that we have to live with our eyebrows forever, of course not.
There are some excellent products out there that can definitely help us out.
One of them is Nars’s Brow Perfector.
Sopracciglia, sopracciglia, sopracciglia.
Come sapete sono uno dei punti del makeup a cui tengo di più, specialmente da qualche tempo.
Le mie sopracciglia hanno sempre avuto una forma abbastanza diversa tra loro e, a causa di qualche spinzettamento esagerato, non sono foltissime.
Con gli ultimi trend del periodo, qualcuno ha detto Cara Delevingne?, la tentazione di riempirle all’inverosimile e di gettare le pinzette dalla finestra c’è.
Però ecco, dal basso della mia inesperienza mi sento di dirvi di non esagerare nel disegnarle, specialmente se non avete un’ottima mano.
Non tutto è perduto in compenso, ci sono alcuni prodotti che possono aiutarci a dare un senso ai peli che ci rimangono.
Uno di quelli è il Brow Perfector di Nars.

April is full of things and news for me, I may do one of my chit chat posts if you feel like taking a peek in my crazy life.
But now let’s talk about this month’s favourites!
 
 
Marzo è finito e a me non sembra vero.
Il mese che arriva è pieno di novità e un sacco di impegni di cui se vi va vi parlo un po’ in uno dei post di bla bla boa a ruota libera che so piacervi tanto.
Ma ora parliamo dei preferiti del mese, il post di oggi è dedicato proprio a loro.

Review: Nars Blush in Sin

I’ve tried quite a few Nars products since the brand arrived in Italy, less than an year ago.
After years of staring at all the gorgeous shades available abroad I went a little mad and went trough a Nars-addicition.
I’m now recovering. Kind of.
Today we’re talking about one of my best purchases from the brand, the powder blush in the shade Sin.
 
Ho provato diversi prodotti Nars da quando il brand è arrivato in Italia.
Non perché il brand abbia deciso di mandarmi pacchi pieni di begli scatolini neri -MAGARI. Nars mandami roba, ti prego- ma perché dopo tanti anni passati a guardare con occhi pieni di desiderio i post di blogger fuori dall’Italia che li mostravano ho avuto proprio una fase di ossessione, in cui avrei acquistato ogni cosa.
Il prodotto di cui parliamo oggi, il blush in polvere Sin, è uno degli acquisti più azzeccati tra tanti bei prodotti.
