Early Christmas at Sephora.

Today’s post is going to be longer and different than usual. Not a review, not a favorites post, not a dramatag.
We’ll talk together about last sunday and I need to tell you everything about it!
A couple of weeks ago I received an email from Giada, Sephora’s Specialist at the Lodi store. I already knew her from her blog, Personalità Multiple.
She offered me the chance to spend the afternoon trying out new products, getting to know Sephora’s Christmas stuff and just being pampered.
I really couldn’t say no, could I?
p.s. the thing on my head is a super-special-exclusive circlet for super-special-exclusive beauty bloggers. Lucky, I know.
p.p.s I had to wear it because Elena made me.

Non sarà una review, nè un post dei preferiti, nè un dramatag.
Parleremo un po’ insieme della giornata di domenica, devo raccontarvi tutto!
 
Qualche settimana fa ho ricevuto una mail da Giada, Specialist di Sephora per lo store di Lodi. La conoscevo già -ma ancora non dal vivo, vederla è stato bellissimo!- dal suo blog, Personalità Multiple. 
Mi ha offerto la possibilità di passare il pomeriggio a provare  prodotti nuovi, conoscere le offerte Sephora per natale e in generale farmi coccolare un po’.
Non potevo dire di no, giusto?
 
 
p.s. la cosa che ho in testa è un cerchietto superesclusivo e superfigo per beauty blogger superesclusive e superfighe. Sono fortunata lo so.

October Favorites!

We’re already in November!
October was the month of my move in Milan which meant, among other things, a change in my stash.
I just don’t have the space to bring all my products here so most of them are at my parents’ home.
I may take more products here in the future, I don’t want to neglect most of my stuff.
Down to the favourites!
Siamo già a Novembre, il tempo vola.
Ottobre è stato il mese del mio trasferimento a Milano che ha significato, tra le altre cose, un cambiamento radicale nel mio arsenale.
Qui non ho tutto lo spazio che avevo prima quindi la maggior parte delle mie cose è rimasta a casa dei miei.
Penso che potrei portare qui altre cose nel futuro o comunque fare un po’ di scambi di prodotti tra le due cose, non voglio trascurare i miei trucchi: potrebbero offendersi!
Adesso parliamo dei preferiti.

a tutte capita di avere un rossetto speciale, quello che ci ricorda un avvenimento, che secondo noi porta bene o che ci fa sentire meglio.. l’ombretto che ci fa sentire coccolate perchè ce lo ha regalato la nonna e anche se il colore fa pena schifo pietà e compassione ce lo mettiamo uguale.. il gloss del nostro primo bacio – ormai rancido e immettibile – che continua a far bella mostra di sè in mezzo a tutti gli altri e che ogni mattina salutiamo con lo sguardo.

Travel Makeup Bag: Sicily Edition!

I’m still in Sicily! In today’s post I’ll show you what I’ve decided to bring with me.
I tried to keep it really simple. This has been a simple family holiday so far: more days by the house pool, less evenings drinking cocktails.
So I really didn’t need a lot of stuff.
Sono ancora in Sicilia! Nel post di oggi vi farò vedere cosa ho deciso di portarmi.
Ho cercato di portarmi davvero poche cose. Per ora -e penso anche fino alla fine ma non si sa mai- questa è stata una tranquillissima vacanza di famiglia: più giornate passate a casa in piscina, meno serate in spiaggia a bere cocktail.
Quindi, razionalmente, sapevo che non mi serviva molta roba.

Oggi inizio una nuova serie di post, sperando che vi piaccia.
Vi parlerò dei miei 5 prodotti preferiti in diverse categorie. In questo modo farò qualche comparazione utile, specialmente quando parlerò di prodotti dello stesso tipo. Un’altra ragione per cui farò questo tipo di post è *aggiornare* post molto vecchi, dicendovi se ho cambiato idea su qualche prodotto e fornendo foto migliori.

Review: Dior Khaki Design Eyeshadow Palette

High end eyeshadows palettes are often disappointing. This Dior Khaki Design Eyeshadow Palette, part of last fall Golden Jungle collection, is not disappointing at all, luckily.

Le palette di ombretti di marchi molto costosi sono spesso decisamente deludenti. Mi sono innamorata di diversi quad di brand di lusso ma una volta swatchati mi hanno fatta passare la voglia di acquistare, colori sheer e polverosi. 
Questa palette Khaki Design Eyeshadow di Dior, parte dell’edizione limitata autunnale Golden Jungle, non mi ha per nulla delusa invece.

I can’t help loving miniature things, especially when it comes to cosmetics. I used to have a Victoria’s Secret mini palette that I just loved. I think I’ve left in somebody’s car, I miss it deeply.
Non riesco a non amare le cose in miniatura, specialmente se sono cosmetici. Un tempo avevo una mini palette di Victoria’s Secret che amavo alla follia. Penso di averla lasciata nella macchina di qualcuno, mi manca proprio.

Another Empties Post! – 4 –

I know these are really a lot of products BUT I’ve had some of them for years and years.
I’ve just decided to finish as many products as I can in this period because I just feel guilty having things lying there without being used.
I think I’ve finished almost every half-used product I had so this should be the last empties post for a while.
So che questi qui sopra sono davvero tanti prodotti MA alcuni di questi li avevo da secoli praticamente.
Ho deciso di finire tutte le cose che riesco in questo periodo perché proprio mi sento in colpa ad averli lì senza usarli.
Penso di aver finito praticamente tutti i prodotti mezzi usati che avevo quindi questo dovrebbe essere l’ultimo post di prodotti finiti per un bel po’. Considerate che c’erano dei giorni in cui finivo praticamente un prodotto al giorno e invece da quando ho fatto queste foto non ho finito più neanche un misero campioncino.
