Review: Smashbox Jet Set Waterproof Eyeliner in Deep Ivy

Smashbox products always looked so interesting to me but the brand is not that well known in Italy and the range is available just in few stores.
When I finally found a place that had the whole line I spent ages there, swatching away.
I could give a shot to the uber famous primers, given my obsession for base related products and how good they’re supposed to be.
But when I saw this eyeliner I just had to get it.
 
 
I prodotti Smashbox mi attirano da tanto tempo ma a lungo non sapevo cosa provare.
C’è una profumeria La Gardenia nella mia città con uno stand piuttosto fornito, qualche tempo fa mi sono messa a guardare tutti i prodotti disponibili, swatchando l’impossibile.
Avrei potuto partire dai loro famosissimi primer, data la mia ossessione per la base e la loro reputazione sarebbe stata una scelta sensata.
Poi però ho visto questo eyeliner e non ci ho capito più niente, ho dovuto prendere lui.

I’ve discovered this lip balm range months ago.
Legami is an italian design company that I’ve known for years for their stationery, you can imagine my surprise when I saw the cutest lipbalms I’ve ever seen placed in my favorite library.
Since I’ve bought the first one I’ve bought -and lost and gifted but that’s a story for another day- several more, all with different fragrances.
Ormai sono mesi e mesi che ho scoperto questa linea di burrocacao.
Del marchio Legami, la prima volta che li ho visti ero in libreria e ne ho preso uno per sfizio, mi piaceva troppo la confezione.
Da quel momento ho perso il conto di quanti ne ho comprati -e persi e regalati, questa però è un’altra storia-, tutti di profumazioni diverse.

Some time ago I’ve received from Antos quite a few products to try out.
The eye cream, subject of today’s post, conquered me straight away. If you’ve been reading me for a while you know that it does take me a while to review a product right?
In this case it took me even longer, eye creams are not a product I’m real familiar with.

Qualche tempo fa ho ricevuto da Antos dei prodotti da provare.
Il contorno occhi, oggetto del post di oggi, mi ha conquistata immediatamente. Se mi leggete da un po’ sapete che preferisco aspettare per scrivere una review completa di un prodotto, vero?
In questo caso poi ho preferito darmi ancora più tempo, per me il contorno occhi fino a qualche tempo fa era un prodotto semi sconosciuto, con cui non avevo grande familiarità.

We’re talking about one of the Expertwear Blush, the shade I own is called Pink Amber.
Oggi parliamo di un blush Maybelline che ho da secoli.
Non è fuori produzione però, recentemente l’ho visto mentre sbadigliavo in fila alla Coop, quindi se dovesse interessarvi potreste ancora trovarlo.

Review: MAC Prolongwear Paint Pot in Layin Low

Every time there’s a discussion about MAC’s must haves the paint pot Painterly comes in the list.
I’m the most influenceable person EVER so of course, I bought it.
Sadly it was an epic fail for me, I hated that little glass pot with all my heart.
Today’s post is about Lain’ Low, my own Painterly.
 
Quando si parla dei must have MAC si nomina molto spesso il paint pot Painterly. 
Io, che come forse sapete mi faccio influenzare abbastanza facilmente, l’ho acquistato.
Per me però è stato un fail sotto ogni punto di vista, ho odiato quel maledetto barattolino per mille motivi.
Il prodotto di cui vi parlo oggi è l’equivalente di Painterly ma uno che funziona per me, il paint pot Layin Low.

June Favorites!

June is finally over.
This month has been a nightmare.
I really hope July’ll be better, I have so many amazing things to look forward to, let’s cross our fingers.
Did I tell you that I’m finally getting a tattoo? I’m super excited about it and a little nervous too, I may faint even before I actually get it.
But let’s talk about pretty shiny things. In this awful month’s favorites there’re quite a few new products that I really like, let’s talk about it straight away.
Finalmente giugno è finito.
È stato un mese da incubo, davvero.
Spero davvero che luglio sia migliore, ho un sacco di cose bellissime che mi aspettano e che attendo con ansia, incrociamo tutti insieme le dita!
Vi ho detto che finalmente faccio il mio primo tatuaggio? Sono super esaltata e anche un po’ nervosa, mi aspetto di svenire ancora prima di cominciare.
Ma parliamo di cose belle. Nei prodotti preferiti di questo mese infame ci sono diversi nuovi prodotti interessanti, iniziamo subito a parlarne.

Today we’ll talk a little more in details about one of the products, the day cream.

Review: Pupa Vamp! Creamshadow in Illusion Gray

I honestly have no idea if Pupa is a brand known worldwide or even outside Italy.
I did spot it in a couple of videos by non italian beauty guru but still, nothing much.
Today’s post is going to be about one of the products in their Vamp! range, a creamshadow in the shade Illusion Gray.
Quando c’è stata una promozione Pupa per cui con cinque euro si poteva acquistare un prodotto della linea Vamp io ovviamente me la sono persa.
Continuavo a ripetermi di stampare il coupon ma no, la mia disorganizzazione me l’ha impedito.
A promozione finita però ho iniziato a interessarmi particolarmente della linea di ombretti in crema e mi sono innamorata del 600, Illusion Gray.
