Early Christmas at Sephora.

Today’s post is going to be longer and different than usual. Not a review, not a favorites post, not a dramatag.
We’ll talk together about last sunday and I need to tell you everything about it!
A couple of weeks ago I received an email from Giada, Sephora’s Specialist at the Lodi store. I already knew her from her blog, Personalità Multiple.
She offered me the chance to spend the afternoon trying out new products, getting to know Sephora’s Christmas stuff and just being pampered.
I really couldn’t say no, could I?
p.s. the thing on my head is a super-special-exclusive circlet for super-special-exclusive beauty bloggers. Lucky, I know.
p.p.s I had to wear it because Elena made me.

Non sarà una review, nè un post dei preferiti, nè un dramatag.
Parleremo un po’ insieme della giornata di domenica, devo raccontarvi tutto!
 
Qualche settimana fa ho ricevuto una mail da Giada, Specialist di Sephora per lo store di Lodi. La conoscevo già -ma ancora non dal vivo, vederla è stato bellissimo!- dal suo blog, Personalità Multiple. 
Mi ha offerto la possibilità di passare il pomeriggio a provare  prodotti nuovi, conoscere le offerte Sephora per natale e in generale farmi coccolare un po’.
Non potevo dire di no, giusto?
 
 
p.s. la cosa che ho in testa è un cerchietto superesclusivo e superfigo per beauty blogger superesclusive e superfighe. Sono fortunata lo so.

I’m not really into hair masks, I have to admit this.
I bought this flaxseed based one by Parisienne just because it was super cheap and it looked interesting.
Non mi piacciono troppo le maschere per capelli, devo ammetterlo.
Ho preso questa a base di semi di lino della Parisienne principalmente perché era molto economica e pensavo potesse essere interessante.

Review: Aleppo Soap

Aleppo’s soap is one of those products that probably would have never tried if it wasn’t for the blogosphere and videos on youtube.
There was a time when everyone, at least in the italian beauty community, was talking about how this product was basically a must have for a good skincare routine.
I, extremely  impressionable, immediately bought it .

 

Il sapone di Aleppo è uno di quei prodotti che probabilmente non avrei mai provato se non fosse per la blogosfera e per i video su youtube.
C’era un periodo in cui tutti ne parlavano come il prodotto da avere per una buona skincare routine.
Io, persona estremamente influenzabile, l’ho acquistato.
A proposito di lasciarsi influenzare, vi lascio il link ad un tag molto carino su Penelope Trousse. Io in questi giorni non ho tempo di programmarlo -anche perché la maggior parte dei trucchi è a casa a Bergamo e non qui con me a Milano- ma è proprio bellino.

Top 5 Oh my Deer: that would be what most people would call the “doe-eyed look,” sweet eyes and sweetness from every pore (possibly not large pores).
I really like the doe eyed look, I usually go for it when I want to wear a bold lipstick, I really think it’s a great match.

La top 5 di oggi arriva da un’idea di Elisha *mando un abbraccio solo per lei*, qui trovate il suo blog.
Top 5 Oh my Deer ♥ – ovvero quello che più comunemente definisco il “look da cerbiatta”, occhioni dolci e sweetness da tutti i pori (possibilmente non dilatati XD).
Il look da cerbiatta mi piace tanto, è il genere di trucco che faccio sugli occhi quando voglio mettere un rossetto molto forte -nel mio mondo forte equivale quasi sempre a scuro ma questa è un’altra storia-, la trovo un’accoppiata che su di me funziona molto.

I’ve been getting into skincare  only lately.

I’m still new to this field so I’m definitely not an expert. I’m still experimenting with things and slowly acquiring new favorites.
When Sarah of Farmaline contacted me a couple of weeks ago, offering me to try some of the products sold in the e-store she represents I gladly accepted.

Mi sto appassionando di prodotti per la skincare solo recentemente.
Sono ancora relativamente nuova nel campo e sicuramente non sono un’esperta. Sto ancora sperimentando con tanti tipi di prodotti e trovando nuovi preferiti man mano.
Quando Sarah di Farmaline mi ha contattata qualche settimana fa proponendomi di provare qualche prodotto venduto nell’estore da lei rappresentato ho accettato volentieri.

We’re already in November!
October was the month of my move in Milan which meant, among other things, a change in my stash.
I just don’t have the space to bring all my products here so most of them are at my parents’ home.
I may take more products here in the future, I don’t want to neglect most of my stuff.
Down to the favourites!
Siamo già a Novembre, il tempo vola.
Ottobre è stato il mese del mio trasferimento a Milano che ha significato, tra le altre cose, un cambiamento radicale nel mio arsenale.
Qui non ho tutto lo spazio che avevo prima quindi la maggior parte delle mie cose è rimasta a casa dei miei.
Penso che potrei portare qui altre cose nel futuro o comunque fare un po’ di scambi di prodotti tra le due cose, non voglio trascurare i miei trucchi: potrebbero offendersi!
Adesso parliamo dei preferiti.

A little while ago I reviewed a Benefit eyeshadow from the new range, today I’ll tell you my thoughts about one in the old one.
I bought it in Sephora summer sales and it’s the only single shadow I own with this formula.

 

Qualche tempo fa vi ho recensito un ombretto Benefit della linea nuova, oggi vi parlo di uno della vecchia.

L’ho acquistato con i saldi Sephora di quest’estate ed è l’unico mono che ho con questa formulazione, ho qualche cialda nelle varie palette ma devo ammettere di non averli usati moltissimo.

I use an insane quantity of toothpaste and I often go for whitening ones.
So when Nathalie, head of NatSmile, offered me a free whitening treatment, innovative and natural, you can easily imagine how fast I decided that yes, I’d go for it.
Se nei post dei prodotti finiti includessi tutti i prodotti che finisco in casa sapreste che ho un’ossessione per i denti bianchi.
Consumo una quantità di dentifricio sorprendente e tra i tubetti finiti non è raro che ci sia qualche tubetto sbiancante o presunto tale.
Quando Nathalie del centro NatSmile mi ha offerto di provare gratuitamente uno sbiancamento dentale innovativo e naturale potete immaginare la velocità a cui ho deciso che sì, mi sarei sacrificata per la causa e avrei provato quest’esperienza.
