Review: Alverde Eyeshadow Duo Golden Bronze

I really like this Alverde eyeshadow duo for more than a reason.
The main reason is because it was a gift I received from the lovely Laura, a blogger that I’ve been  following for ages and that I had to chance to meet a couple of months ago.
A memory of a great afternoon, isn’t that already enough to love a product?
 
Questo duo di ombretti Alverde mi piace per tanti motivi.
Il primo è che è un regalo di Laura, blogger che seguo da tantissimo tempo e che ho avuto modo di conoscere ad un incontro da lei organizzato.
Anche solo per questo non potrebbe non piacermi, mi ricorda un bellissimo pomeriggio.

Among those were this eye crayon from Make Up For Ever, from the Aqua Shadow range.

I’ve got more than one eyeliner from MAC’s Super Slick range and I really like all of them.
In the past I’ve reviewed Desires&Devices, here’s an old and embarrassing review, a gorgeous shade that’s a mix of gold and olive green.
Today’s post is about Smoky Heir, a recent buy that has stole my heart.
Ho più di un eyeliner della linea SuperSlick di MAC e mi piacciono tanto tutti.
In passato ho recensito Desires&Devices, qui review imbarazzante e corta, un colore meraviglioso che è un mix di verde oliva e oro.

Review: Dior 5 Couleurs Mystic Metallics in Bonne Etoile

Let’s say it straight away, this product is not currently available for sale in stores.
I know that reviewing something you can’t buy straight away is an hateful thing to do to other makeup addicts, especially when we’re talking about so gorgeous like this Dior palette.
But you know it takes me ages to get my ideas straight about something and if I had to review just new releases I’d have to start a Kickstarter project to fund my shopping.
Diciamolo subito, questo prodotto non è più in commercio.
Lo so che è odioso recensire qualcosa che non potete correre a comprare subito, specialmente se è qualcosa di meraviglioso come questa palette Dior.
Però io ci metto tanto a farmi un’idea su un prodotto e insomma, se dovessi recensìrvi solo  le ultime uscite dovrei comprare ancora più cose di quelle che già acquisto.
Insomma, mi perdonate?

Review: Laura Mercier Under Eye Perfector in Rose

Today’s review is about an unique product, that I’ve never thought I could need.
We’re talking about Laura Mercier’s Under Eye Perfector in the shade Rose, one of the two available.
This little pot probably isn’t the first thing that catches your eye when you go to a LM’s counter, it kinds of get lost among all those well known products.
During my experience at one of the counters -you can find my post about it here– the mua Sara made me try it and I bought it straight away.
 
La review di oggi è su un prodotto unico, che mai avrei pensato di poter acquistare.
Stiamo parlando dell’Under Eye Perfector di Laura Mercier nella colorazione Rose, una delle due disponibili.
Questo barattolino non attira l’attenzione al counter Laura Mercier, si perde un po’ tra tutte le altre meraviglie.
Durante la mia -ormai lontana- esperienza in Rinascente, ve ne parlavo qui, la mua Sara me l’ha fatto provare e l’ho acquistato subito, conquistata.

Review: Nabla Cosmetics Liquid Tech Blush in Fluid Love

Lately I’ve realised just how much I love blushes.
Ok, I don’t think there’s something I don’t like when it comes to makeup, let’s be honest.
But when I’ve re read the post about my travel makeup bag I noticed I brought oh so many of them!
I used to focus way more on my eye look and I really couldn’t care less about blusher. Now a look just doesn’t feel right if I don’t wear some color on my cheeks. 
Yet another fundamental step, I know.
Anyway, I did use every single blush while I was away!
But if I had to bring just a couple of them I’m sure Fluid Love would have been one of them.
 
Ultimamente mi sono resa conto di quanto mi piacciano i blush.
Ok, probabilmente non c’è un elemento del trucco che proprio non mi piace o non mi interessa, lo ammetto.
Guardando però i trucchi che ho deciso di portarmi in vacanza -qui trovate il post- ho visto che erano davvero tanti, specialmente se paragonati agli elementi per il look occhi che fino a qualche tempo fa erano quasi sempre la parte che mi interessava più in un trucco.
Un trucco non mi sembra più completo se non mi spiaccico qualcosa in faccia. Sì, l’ennesimo step fondamentale.
Tra l’altro i blush li ho usati tutti mentre ero via, tutti!
Se ne avessi portati di meno, però, avrei sicuramente portato Fluid Love.

I’m cheating a little because I’ve spent the last week of this month in Cape Verde -I’m still there while you’re reading this- but well, who cares.
There are quite a few new products among these, I finally have Marc Jacobs and Hourglass in a Sephora near my house and it’s killing my wallet.

In realtà ho barato un po’ perché l’ultima settimana l’ho passata a Capo Verde -in realtà mentre voi leggete sono ancora qui- ma insomma, facciamo finta.
Ci sono diversi prodotti nuovi, avere Marc Jacobs e Hourglass nella Sephora all’interno di Brian&Barry è la mia rovina, sì sì.

Another post about a product that came out a while ago, by Kiko.
For me it’s actually a new product, I’ve got this eyeshadow palette in a beauty adoption from a beauty blogger.
We’re talking about the Color Fever Eyeshadow Palette in Luxurious Gold and Plum.
From what I’ver ear online this product came out more than once, I’m pretty sure Kiko will launch it again sooner or later.
Anche oggi parliamo di un prodotto uscito da un po’ di tempo, questa volta di Kiko.
In questo caso però per me è un prodotto nuovo, ho infatti ricevuto questa palette in beauty adoption da un’amica blogger.
Si tratta della Color Fever Eyeshadow Palette nella variante Luxurious Gold and Plum.
Da quel che ho capito cercando un po’ online questo prodotto è uscito in più di una collezione, chissà che Kiko e la sua infinita fantasia non ce la ripropongano in futuro.

Today’s post is about a MAC pencil that was part of the past two years christmas LE.
I know that talking about discontinued products is not the best thing a beauty blogger can do but my stash is not infinite -I do hope that one morning I’ll wake up to see that my brown eyeshadows have multiplied during the night- and you never know when a brand may repromote something.
 
Oggi parliamo di una matita MAC che ha fatto parte delle collezioni natalizie degli ultimi due anni.
Lo so che forse parlare di prodotti non sul mercato attualmente non è il massimo ma il mio stash non è infinito -spero sempre che i miei ombretti marroni si riproducano mentre dormo ma ancora nulla- e con tutti i marchi la possibilità che i prodotti vengano riproposti è dietro l’angolo, specialmente con MAC.

Travel Makeup Bag: Cabo Verde Edition pt. II

While you’re reading this I’m finally on the plane, flying to Cape Verde.
In this post I’ll show what I’m bringing with me.
After I’ve finished packing I went back to this summer’s post.
I realised I brought way more stuff this year, mainly blushes and lip products.
Well, my friend R. doesn’t bring any makeup and counts on my stuff so I couldn’t disappoint her, right?!
All this stuff’ll get some use only at night, I never put on any makeup when I’m at the beach.
Mentre voi leggete questo post io sono finalmente sull’aereo, in volo verso Capo Verde.
Qui parliamo un po’ dei prodotti che mi sto portando in vacanza.
Dopo aver fatto il beauty e le foto sono andata a vedere cosa mi sono portata quest’estate.
Mi sono resa conto di aver portato più cose di quest’estate, principalmente blush e prodotti labbra.
In parte mi giustifico dicendo che insomma, la mia amica R. non si porta trucchi e quindi condividiamo i miei. E poi non so, mi piacciono i trucchi e mi piace portarmeli in giro anche se probabilmente tanti non li userò.
Premessa, io al mare non mi trucco mai, tutto ciò verrà usato massimo quando esco la sera.
